First day of sun after a long period of grayness. Thank God!
Maybe it is time that my country comes out of the political darkness too? For days now on the streets of every major city we have demonstrations. It is a hard time to live in Croatia. And to be an artist in Croatia is even harder. Most of my fellow citizens do not have jobs and struggle to survive, so you can imagine how can they find any interest in buying art?
But, I serve a Mighty God, and He will do as He has promised (Romans 8:28). He turns every situation for my good, simply because I am His. I am bought by the blood of Jesus and I am not my own any more.
“Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told." Acts 27:25
And for todays painting, I wanted to reveal how I came up with it. This is a photo of an early morning and this is a view from my atelier's window.
