I have set my thoughts and ideas on that upcoming exhibition. The main idea is a village, a home, a house, a place where you can feel protected and peaceful.
It is a mental game for me to stay on a certain subject and work on it till I exhaust all that I can give in that period on time. As an artist I am constantly curios and ideas for new projects are rising daily in my mind. I must admit that it is sometimes hard to focus on just one thing. I already have some ideas for the art contest that is coming up in a few months. One of my colleges who is a painter for 30 years said that as the time pass, I will settle a bit and be pleased only in one particular style... maybe, I don't know, maybe he is right, but I think that some of us, us artists, are so impressed with the world around and in us that we will never stop exploring. As you already know, I am very much fond of the work from Picasso, and he was that type of artist. He never stopped exploring the new possibilities to create.
Art is the elimination of the unnecessary. Pablo Picasso, and i think that He probably wondered all of his life what else he can eliminate :)
and another quote even more explaining why he is painting always a new thing: I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.
